I just got us an official Avengers mission.

Seriously. I got the mission from Agent Carter. She was with the Avengers back home. And Cap's girlfriend. [He reads the files.] She wants our help with the murder investigation and has a mission for us.

Oh... [He's not entirely sure how he feels about that.] Are you sure she doesn't think Cap is the killer too?

I'm positive. I saw her list of suspects. Cap's not on it.

[He's not happy about himself and Santo being suspected but he has to admit some of Sharon's reasoning made sense. It sucks being the reasonable one sometimes.]

Besides, there's a chance our mission will bring the killer right to us so you'll have someone to rock.

We at least SHIELD doesn't think one hero is a murderer.

[He's not going to stop being bitter about that. Come on! Santo wouldn't use knives on his worst enemy. There was no art to that.]

The fact that we were even on the list makes me wonder about SHIELD more than usual.

Really? Seems standard to me when you think about it. Something goes wrong, someone at SHIELD probably says 'Blame the mutants' right away. [So not a SHIELD fan.]
